Mixology 2010 Challenge

I'm joining the Mixology challenge for 2010. Here are my categories and my reading list (to be filled in as the year progresses.)

1. List how many books total you want to read in 2010.

2. List no less than 4 categories for these books and determine how many you'll read in each category.
My mix:

Total Goal for the Year: 500 Books

6 Short Story Collections. (For my purposes, this could be either a collection with a single author read in whole or part, a collection with a variety of authors read in whole or part, a book with two or more interconnected stories that are not quite a novel or novella but not really a proper short story either. How much of "part" does it need to count, it depends. If I'm reading a collection with 100 stories in it, I would think I'd need to have read at least 50 or so for it to count. Giving up on individual short stories within a collection is allowed.)

  1. I don't have words. 500 books. Goodness.

Thanks for joining Mixology, though! I can't WAIT to follow your progress. BTW, what is a "Board Book"?

    ReplyDelete
  2. Elisabeth, thanks for stopping by! I review books for all ages starting with babies. Board books are those sturdy-and-small books for babies and toddlers. (Think Goodnight Moon and Runaway Bunny) They range in length from eight to sixteen pages (usually). Some of the categories (like board books) are very short in length. And picture books are about 32 pages.

I'm so excited about this challenge!
