Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading.
It is a truth universally acknowledged that the problem with new shoes is that they are never as comfortable as the ones they are meant to replace. But Henry hadn't known this. After all, he'd never had a pair of new shoes before. (86)

**This note is for both books by men and women. I did repeat authors. And I tallied for each book I read, not for each author. So I didn't read books by 140 different women and 65 different men. A handful of books had multiple authors, so I counted each author. And a few books didn't list an author at all. That's why this total doesn't match the number of books read.
